Confederation Court Complex
Back to listConfederation Court Complex is situated in the heart of Downtown Charlottetown, the “Birthplace of Canada”. The city is firmly established as a popular tourist destination, as a primary office sector location and as the hub of municipal, provincial and federal offices.
The Complex itself is a compilation of many different buildings, old and new, encompassing a complete city block, integrated to form a multi functional office/retail complex. This property has access to Queen Street and University Avenue, two of the primary transportation routes to downtown, as well as Kent and Grafton streets. The Confederation Center of the Arts and Province House are located across the street to the Southeast.
Type of Space
The Complex is an enclosed, 263,314 square feet of gross leasable space, multi-level retail mall which comprises:
- Three office towers;
- 106,628 square feet of retail space; and
- 156,686 square feet of office space.
Major retail tenants include Shoppers Drug Mart and True Value Hardware. Although it will not be part of Homburg Canada REIT’s portfolio, a hotel is planned for the site on land owned by it. This hotel is expected to add traffic and profile to this key commercial property.
