James W. Beckerleg is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the REIT. James W. Beckerleg served as a director of Homburg Invest from 2000 to 2004. Since 2005 and until very recently, he has provided consulting and management services to Homburg Canada in the area of strategic advice and planning, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and was, until recently, the Vice President Quebec Region of Homburg Canada. From 1995 to 2005, Mr. Beckerleg was President of Belwest Capital Management Corp., a private financial management and consulting firm. He had many previous years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and has served as an executive and director of several public companies including in the real estate sector.

He has a B.Sc (Mathematics) from McGill University (Montréal, Québec) and an MBA from Concordia University (Montréal, Québec).

Gordon G. Lawlor is the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the REIT. Gordon G. Lawlor had served as Chief Financial Officer of Homburg Canada and was responsible for treasury, financing, acquisition/dispositions and taxation with respect to Homburg Invest. He had been with Homburg Canada since August 2005. After graduating from Saint Mary’s University (Halifax, Nova Scotia) in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics), he began working with a chartered accounting firm, receiving his Chartered Accountant designation in 1994. Prior to working at the Homburg group he spent seven years at Emera Inc., a publicly traded utility company, leaving as Director of Finance.

Ashley L. Phillips is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CANMARC REIT. Previously, he was President of Homburg Canada Inc. and was directly responsible for the operational aspects of the Canadian real estate portfolio.

Mr. Phillips joined the Homburg Group in 1992 and has covered all aspects of the firm’s real estate portfolio. He has worked in the Halifax, Moncton, Calgary and Vancouver markets during his career with the Homburg group.

Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Acadia University (Wolfville, Nova Scotia). He also graduated from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMA) with the designation of Real Property Administrator (RPA).

Guy Charron is Executive Vice President and Head, Quebec Operations of CANMARC REIT. Mr. Charron was formerly Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Homburg Real Estate Trust (previously Alexis Nihon Real Estate Investment Trust which was acquired by Homburg Invest Inc. in April 2007) and he was directly responsible for the operational aspects of the Quebec real estate portfolio.

Before joining Alexis Nihon Real Estate Investment Trust, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since 2004, he held numerous positions including the function of President and Chief Operating Officer for a publicly traded retail company. He began his career in 1979 at Deloitte, where he worked until 1989.

Mr. Charron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration and a Major in Accounting from Sherbrooke University (Sherbrooke, Quebec). He is a member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1981.
